A few months ago, my client, Michael, informed me that he was going to compete in his first triathlon along with his brother Rob. Naturally, I was excited and was ready modify his workout routine to optimize his sports specific training. We did strength training once per week, emphasizing strength endurance and total body movements.

July 9, 2017, Michael competed in the Tri Aggieland. The specs of the race were as follows:

400-meter snake-style swim in the world class, Texas A & M Natatorium, followed by a 12-mile bike on traffic-controlled campus and College Station roads, followed by a 5K run on paths meandering through the beautiful Texas A&M campus.

Below are a few photos taken by his lovely wife Rachel.

If you or if you know any family and friend that are interested in putting together a strength/conditioning program and nutritional guidance to help you compete in your triathlon event, don't hesitate to give us a call!

Until next time - ENVISION, BELIEVE, EXECUTE and SUCCEED
