The following letter below is from Will Burkholder, president of CUTtheNETS™.  It serves as our partnership to bring you guys our Advanced Movement Program. Please read through and sign up to today!

Dear Parents, Coaches & Players,

I strongly believe in 'movement training' for ALL young athletes who aspire to seriously compete in hoops at the MS & HS levels...and beyond. While we incorporate elements of movement training in our D-LEAGUE and SELECT workouts...CUTtheNETS™ Coaches predominantly focus on ball skills, basketball IQ, and overall playing philosophy.

LTAD (Long Term Athletic Development) is an important acronym in youth sports today. Simply speaking...studies have shown that young athletes have 'gates' where optimal levels of leaping, sprinting, bounding, lateral movement, etc. must be performed in order to achieve maximum potential in later years (HS, College, Pro).

In an effort to help make our players 'better movers'.... CUTtheNETS™ is partnering with DMP Fitness owner Darryl Perrilloux to offer an introductory 6-week Advanced Movement Program (aka AMP) focusing on LTAD. Not only has Darryl trained several CUTtheNETS™ college alumni from UST, UT, Univ. of Denver, Ga Tech and Austin College...but he has also operated 'summer basketball speed camps' in the past that produced outstanding results for participating players.

AMP will launch on 11/2/15 at Mitchell Intermediate School, and have a limited enrollment of 40 athletes. While I hope all CUTtheNETS™ athletes will take advantage of this opportunity... However, the program is NOT limited to basketball players. AMP is a PERFECT after school training program for all sports. Athletes will be divided by age and ability for all AMP workouts. There will also be a maximum 13-to-1 player / coach ratio to better serve AMP athletes in-the-gym.

Please reach out for me if you have questions about the AMP program. We are offering a $275 rate if registering before 10/23. The AMP program description is listed below my closing for your convenience.

All the Best!

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Advanced Movement Program (AMP) is a 6-week "all-sports training" course conducted Darryl Perrilloux - Owner of DMP Fitness - in concert with CUTtheNETS™.

AMP is designed for athletes - boys & girls / grades 4-6 - of all skill levels. (1) Proper movement patterns, (2) progress into advanced skills, and (3) dynamic movement exercises in the form of competitive activities is the AMP core curriculum. AMP will specifically focus on long-term athletic development (LTAD) to maximize the athletic potential in young athletes during the elementary / intermediate school years.

Specific movement skills include:

- Balance

- Body Awareness

- Coordination

- Neuromusclar Control

- Rhythm and Timing

Every AMP Program will start with gathering baseline measurements that evaluate each student-athlete's current skill level in the form of exercise testing. Testing will measure:

- Power

- Speed

- Agility

- Quickness

- Strength

- Endurance

At the program conclusion, athletes will have their skills reassessed with the same exercise tests conducted at the beginning of the program. AMP will provide student-athletes and parents with the testing results including LTAD next-step recommendations.
